Thomas matevia loan modification ripoff

I talked to a person or telemarketer with this lawyers office about my personal loan info... That was my first mistake. The guy said he could get me a loan modification and said my principle amount of my loan could be lessened. They were going to charge me 2750.in the end, i gave him my credit card info, but i did not sign anything and i did not sign the credit card statement. I did not know they were going to charge my card. So i had checks for bills bouncing everywhere because they charged my account. Then when i tried to call them, some guy, a manager i guess, got on the phone with me and all he cared about was telling me how he was going to help me. I tried for 15 minutes to tell him that i wanted my money back. He kept trying to argue with me and trying to sell me on what agreat thing he was doing for me. My nsf's cost me more than 100. Then i heard from another company who told me that they could help me and wouldn't charge me upfront. Big difference.
Just know that if they get your credit information that you'll likely be charged so be ready. It just seems that the guy was trying so hard to push me into it, to sell me on his idea even though i could not afford to take a chance that it really started to make me nervous.
