Business & Finance

My wife got a letter in the mail from Micheal Wilson at ARVEST Fiancial Services today stating that she had won the AMERICAN FAMILY PUBLISHERS SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING in the amount of $370,000.00. Along with the letter was a check for $4,955.00 to be used to pay the taxes in the amount of $3,990.00 which was to be sent to "TAX AGENT" Christina Gilbert via Western Union or Money Gram. The check looked real. I even checked on line for any scam reports and nothing turned up. Everything that came up online about the company seemed real BUT it wasn't until we went to the bank to cash the check that the teller advised us that even though it was a great looking check it in fact was a fake and hard to tell. MAN THESE SCAMMERS ARE GETTING CRAFTY!!! But i ask you why do they have to target the hard working and underpaid or struggeling citizens of our great nation? Something has to be done!!!
