Treasury Official's Remarks on Predatory Lending Seen as Misdirection

I'll be relocating real soon so I have to put what I know out while I can. I believe that the government in trying to save this faltering economy is offering us up as a sacrifice to keep things going. Looking at NHEMA's website where The Wall Street Journal quotes on 5-30 from Wayne Abernathy of the Treasury Department that when dealing with predatory lending equal attention should be paid to stop predatory borrowing. Now this sounds to me like the government
#1 Is saying that what's happening is to us the recipients of predatory lenders who use illegal means to steal, is not that important to deal with as a single issue.

#2 Predatory borrowers don't have much to worry about because the Government isn't doing anything about Predatory Lenders so equal time would be nothing.
#3 The Treasury Dept. Wants to stir up the waters so the real issue and the real problems get lost.
Sorry guy's but I know you are experts on how to use the press
but the problems remains and the people will be heard.
