FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF OMAHA CREDIT CARD PROCESSING continued to charge our business account after we closed and filed for bankrupcy. We notified them that we closed and requested a mailing address, so we could return the rented credit card processing machine. They send the address and we returned the machine.
During this time, they continued to charge processing charges, even though there were no credit card charges to process, since we were closed and had sent the machine back.
They also charge significantly high overdraft fees when the accouint went negative after one month. The charges accrued to over $ 500.00 after four months. We ignored the charges, since we filed Bankrupcy.
Then they charged the Bankrupt Business Checking account the credit amount of the bogus charges on the closed account. They legally had the account number as part of the process. The problem was that the account had been taken over by the Bankruptcy Court.
This company would not go back and cancel the bogus charges for processing they never did, and rent charges on a machine that had been turned in. They made no attemp to fix the charge against a Federal Court Account
This kind of company is not good for business
