We were referred to brian j duffy of gold coast capital advisors by a commercial loan broker karen isaac of maryland. Mr duffy assured us he could re fi our business real estate and get us a substantial cash out for our business. He initiallly asked for $10,000 which i refused to give since i have already been burned by another such scam. He then lowered it to $5000 but when i still hedged a bit he said he'd get it done for $2500. I then asked for a letter from him stating that if the loan was not funded within 45 days of the loi that my money would be refunded and wired right back into my account. I should have known better because he was calling me 2 to 3 times a day asking for the money so he could present it to these so called lenders. My bank made a mistake and only sent $2200 so he called asking for the other $300. I became leery because i felt why would the lenders not go forward for a lousy $300? Well then the calls stopped and the emails. He has not returned any of my calls and emails and yes the 45 days have elapsed and even the loans he said he was going to fund for karen issac haven't been done either. I can only imagine how much money these people gave him as well. He's a big con artist and a scam. I filed a complaint with new york attorney general's office and am going to put an ad in the new york times and new york post exposing this con artist. I will not rest till he is prosecuted as well. This bum deserves to be with madoff.
