American Home Mortgage is not a valid company -beware

I have a second loan with American home motgage - My load was orginally with countrywide but when they got in trouble they sold it. I have been in the process of trying to refinance my first loan. We have been activly requesting a surborniation agreement. This states that the 2nd loan will stay the 2nd laon - no big deal. It is now August 10 and we are suppose to cloase today - Guess what is missing. We started our request on July 1 with American Home Mortgage.

First you can not speak to anyone that works in the USA! Second when asked to speak to a manager or anyone els to help you they tell you that they can not trans you to anyone. I was also told by three representatives that there si no fee for this process. We submitted all papaer work faxed everything according to their procedures to find outi nt he end that there is a fee, $250.00. After we have done evrything we still have to pay them to sign a document.

I have called everyday for the last weeks and have been lied too numerous times saying that my form has been requested and it will take 24 to 48 hours. I customer service rep told me that she could not help me and was just going to hung up because I was wasting her time.

You know that start all these programs to help people but then you have to deal with compaines like these. If we do not get the agreement we can not refinance today. If we do not refinance today I will be late on my mortgage and will have to start the process for forclosure because we can not afford the current mortage payment.

Never ever do business with this company. If any knows of a company that will help me out of my second so I do not have to business with them again I would really appreciate it.
