Warning: Individual takes a consulting fee, promises to raise capital for businesses and never fufills obligations

I am posting this message to try and warn other people to stay away from this individual.

In November our firm entered into a consulting agreement with Michael Wild and his company Giraffe Investments, LLC. Michael promised to raise in excess of $250 million for our drilling activities (we are an oil and gas exploration firm).in exchange for giving Michael a "consulting fee" of $6250 he was going to raise funds from his investors. The investors never materialized and there was excuse after excuse.in January, per the terms of the consulting agreement we gave Michael Wild and Giraffe Investments notice for repayment of the advances. He did not repay the money according to the contract.

After going through the proper debt collection proceedures, we sued Michael Wild and Giraffe Investments in Travis County Court and received a default judgment when he failed to appear. We have since recorded the abstract of judgment in Travis and Williamson counties of Texas.

While we are out a relatively small amount of money I want to make sure that others don't fall into his trap. I am happy to discuss our experience with anyone who cares to call.

I would also note that since our situation has become a matter of public record I have been contacted by many individuals who have been defrauded by this individual. BEWARE of this guy.
