Unfair practices to former WAMU customers

I was a customer of Washington Mutual for years and always paid on time. Chase now owns that account and I still was always paying on time. Today in the mail I received a letter stating the credit card account is now closed and the APR has been raised to 31.99%.
Consumers are really getting the shaft before the new laws to protect them go into affect and Chase is a major factor.
Before anyone decides to do business with Chase think hard because even if you are a good customer they might change their minds. Oh, they did give my the opportunity of pay the balance in payments or all at once. So nice since I have always paid on time.
