Fraudulent ripoff business

I would like to share my person experience with why this site has become a reality after many months of thinking about finally having a gripe site against OSI.

In the year 2000 I use to work for OSI of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. While i was @ OSI they told me to respect customers and treat them in a professional manner. I then had a medical problem so had to leave OSI. I moved to Jacksonville, Florida and re-applied to work at OSI Collection services.

The first day or so of being at OSI Collection services I noticed things that were just shocking. They required everyone in my week training class to learn all about the FDCPA (Fair Debt collection practice act) and also I had to take a test in order to start collecting. I got 100% on this test and then they put me on the phones without really any other training.

Within the first couple of days of being on the floor I noticed that many collectors were treating the customers like garbage. I then was called into the bosses office and was told that 3rd party collections was not for me. I then spoke with Melissa Stokes, recruiter. While speaking with Melissa Stokes she agreed that 3rd party was not for me but would reassign me to 1st party when Christmas and New Years was over. After the new years I contacted her and she gave me a total run around. I then found out that she black balled me from OSI and that I could no longer work with this company.

OSI Collections Trying to collect on a debt not verified

I found out in a letter that OSI was trying to collect a medical bill for Belfort Emergency Physicians that is $110.00. I immediately told OSI that this debt was not mine and that I wanted to have proof that this debt belonged to me I did not hear from them and found out a couple a weeks ago this debt was reported on my credit report.

I have sent a letter to Belfort Emergency informing them that if they did not respond to this letter that means this debt does not belong to me and that they gave permission to OSI to remove this negative information from my credit report but they failed to do so.

OSI Still has not been able to verify that I owe this debt and continue to make my life a total mess.

After Several Months of problems with OSI they finally contacted me. They claimed they never got verification of my debt, said they submitted a request to get this negative information removed from my credit report but it still shows up!

I encourage everyone who has had a problem with OSI to inform me immediately. I also suggest NO PERSON work for this company and to file a complaint with the federal trade commission.

I started a website in protest against OSI! As I stated above they verified that they could not verify that it was my debt but reported it anyways. Thats why this site exists
