Thieves, Cons and Fast Talkers!

I have a mortgage loan with them and we going through some tough times with a major job loss and financial issues. American General has NO hardship programs and won't work with you, rather, they try and con you with lies and false statements like they are helping you out, but are really lying just to get your money! I had the Branch Manager tell me that they would only accept a Cashier's Check or Money Order and no personal checks when a mortgage payment was going to be made. She also told me that she had the authority to decline a personal check payment and would do so if the payment wasn't by their means stated (Cashier's or Money Order).

I feel their practices are very illegal and unfair and a class action Law suit should be taken against them and their interest rates are way out of line here. They do try and get the late and finance charges nail on to your payment and the payment really is secondary to them, I believe!
