Wells Fargo EFS
Trust Us - We Know How Much You Owe

Business & Finance

I didn't realize how predatory Wells Fargo Educational Financial Services truly was until a payment landed late by 2 weeks. All of a sudden my whole loan is in default, interest being compounded to rates over 50%. Yikes!

In trying to work this out with them, they have been rude and harassing. One week they will turn it over to a collection agency, another week they will pull it back. I continue to send payments so that the matter doesn't get worse while they decide what they want to do.

I've asked for statements, accounting details and they said they don't do that for charged off loans (the newest status as of lately).

In the meantime they've trashed my credit reports by reporting a charge off and each time they farm it out to a collection agency those folks add on with an entry of their own.

Hang tough. Be persistent. Keep a trail of evidence. Some day, some time I will get through this - as will you - and we'll all be better in the end!
