Educators fraudulent ripoff credit report entry

American Credit Educators, LLC Fraudulent entry to credit report, with no credit card, or materials ordered. Denver Colorado...

I recently received my credit reports, as I usually do to yearly, to my surprise, I find an entry for American Credit Educators, LLC for the amount of three hundred dollars. I attempted to contact this company 23 times before finally getting through to a customer service rep. Unfortunately there was no customer service involved, it was nothing but a collection attempt.

I tried to explain that I had never heard of the company, and never had an ACE credit card, but that fact was totally over looked and went directly into a converstation about how we can setup a payment plan, and maybe even lower the balance. Since that time, I have began receiving threatening notices in the mail that I need to pay this amount or it will negatively affect my credit.

Sad to say, it already has, and is on my report as being 120 days past due 26 times. The credit agency will not remove it, nor will ACE do anything about it. Because of this, I was unable to apply for student loans to finish nursing school, which has compromised my career.
