I received a Letter in the mail saying that I won a prize of 41,000.00! I was a little skeptical, but My family, we are totally and completely broke and living of a weekly check of $108 and Child support that is $359 that comes the first part of each month... I Was not too sure but I called to activate an enclosed check that was for $4,300.50 and talked to a man named Frank Hamilton. He told me to deposit the check into my bank account, and then call him back when I did.

I did not have a bank account so I opened a new account... And deposited the check. The bank informed me that there would be a hold on the check for about 11 days because of it being a new. When I called Frank Back I was informed to send at total of $3,150.00 to a Janet Rivers In Brooklyn NY by western union, then shortly after in three to five days I would receive the rest of the money. I was also informed to call back with a conformation code.

I continuously checked the status of the check because I had my doubts but again my family needs the money! I was told from the bank that the check would probably bounce against my account and it would be closed, because of it being a fraudulent check. I after receiving that information called Frank Hamilton. He asked for the number to my bank and said to call back in two hours. I called him back and have been calling ever since then, that was two days ago, I have not heard from him since.

I have then continued to wait and today was the day the check was supposed to clear but It has not cleared... I called my bank and they informed me that the check was fraudulent and that it was not going to clear, that my account was going to be closed, and that they could tell me more about it on Tuesday. My husband and I have been calling this supposed Frank non stop. He will not answer the phone... Nor return the phone calls to the messages we have left for him.

I had my doubts and should have went with my gut feeling on this but, I am a young mother, only 20 I lost my mom at 18 so she isn't here for support or help, I have a lot to learn, and I am just trying to support my family, I got laid off from my job and my husband cant work at this time due to knee surgery. Jobs are tough to find! I just need help!!! We are flat broke and thought this was the answer to out prayers, it was a disaster! Like everything else lately!

Today well finally got a hold of Linda Robert and she eventually hung up on us for telling her exactly what we thought and threatening to press charges, and sue!

I should have know better: I was always told to call, no one ever called me back. I wasn't allowed to show the paper to anyone is what I was told... There were so many signs yet I didn't see them! I feel really stupid!

I hope these people pay for what they did, I know if I get my way they will! Don't worry I plan on going about it the legal way, this isn't a life threatening message!
