A Subsidiary Of Experian This site promise a free quote w/o SSN but does not come thru

Business & Finance

This site says it will provide a rapid and non-commital free mortgage re-finance note quote with the new current rates. Now I would expect to have questions re: income, etc-and maybe even a phone call-but this site is run/owned by Experian. At the end of a detailed questionnaire there is a statement claiming that said quote is only "30 seconds away":|; however, if you would like a more detailed report of your credit, etc you can/need to provide your SSN. And then the little "loading" wheel just keeps ion turning and turning and turning and turning... You get the picture. No mortgage quote unless you go to the Experian site (I suspect-I didn't go there-been sucked into that one too many times before). I waited 5 minutes simply because I was "curious". Eventually the browser will sign me out, so I moved on.
Oh, but I did get a telephone call from a lender. Within 10 minutes. I very politely told her "no thankyou".
