Ripoff - they charged $298 to my bank account without mentioning any kind of fees to me mistreated and ripped off ripoff fraud mortage company

We applied for a home mortgage on line. They called us to ask more information. They even recorded the phone call but NEVER mentioned to fees to be paid. Later on, as we were checking our bank account, we learned of a withdrawal from our bank account of $298. After some investigation, we found out it was from Wise Choice. At that time nothing rang the bell... We could not recall of anyone nor anything with that name to whom we owed money...

After inquiring with the bank, we got their phone number and finally called. We learned that the withdrawal was for the mortgage application fees. We disputed the matter since we were neveer told about fees to be paid. We listened at the recording. Nothing was said about the fees. They promised the refund. The fees were taken out over a month ago and up to today we have not received them back yet.

In a way we feel lucky because we keep an accurate account of our transactions and were able to locate the fraud... I wonder how many people have been ripped off by the same Company and they don't even know...
