Ripped me off haven't heard from anyone since 8/08

I was contacted on the phone to join this company saying the could lower my intrest rates on my credit cards. When we called the companies they were having a hard time getting them down. One of the guys called me twice and said he would call me back to continue working on my cards and I haven't heard from anyone since August. I should of known something was up because they charged my card twice and changed the first company saying it went out of business. Please don't fall for this gimick like I did i think it is just a scheme to get money.
