My husband received a letter with a Canadian stamp and no return address as notification he had received $100,000 in a National Geographic Sweepstake. He is instructed to deposit the check they enclosed in his bank account to cover the insurance, handling, duty and taxes fees. The check is for $3,115.00, from First State Bank of Minnesota, Windon MD. There is no phone or address information for the bank.

I checked the National Geographic website and there is nothing listed about this sweepstake.
It sounds to good to be true and when I checked it out, it is not true. I read some reports on your website and it appears the company name may have changed, but the address and phone number and method they use are the same.
