Deceptive practice / account closures / irresponsible busniess practices

Will keep this short and quick! If you do business with gemb g.E. Money bank - which supplies card to walmart / lowes / p.C. Richards and many other stores you are in for a ride. My suggestion is to boycott all these retailers and place the control of power back into the consumers hands. Gemb from what i have read and experienced is rotten to the core with business practices that would make a loan shark look like an angel.

First close any gemb account beofre they can close them on you and place "closed by grantor" on your credit which will affect you when it comes time to buy a car.

Second contact the stores you do busniess with that carry gemb as thier primary source of financing prodect that are purchased at their stores and notify them that you will boycott them until they sever ties with gemb.

Third pay at least ten days in advance but no more gemb has a tendency to stack payment on prior months and make you late for the current month thus you get a late fee and they report you as late.

I am not sure what is going on with gemb but they have received huge amounts of t.R.A.P. Funds and bail out that the taxpayer and the consumer are eventually paying for. Then they have the gual to turn around and stable the consume in the back by closing account without merit / reducing credit lines / increasing credit rates / every trick in the book.

Frankly the government should look into this and pin them down.

Being that they took t.R.A.P. Funds with the bail out i believe that they should not be engaging in such practices and furthermore they shoudl not recieve any further assistance from the us govt and be restricted from recieving any additional monies for bailsouts.

They have lost the "trust of the public" lies cheats and thieves. I thought i saw it all at enron but gemb has them beat!

Its time for the consume to to be the customer again and not racked over the coals by corpaorate greed and excess. If we continue this path we will defualt as a financial stable country and be in ruins - if regulatory commissions can not find it in their hearts to combat this then we need a change in govt now not later - stop the song and dance and get off your duff and do something about it - the consumers are screaming for help and nothing is being done! Sad!
