Providian Financial, ripoff, Paid off account still reported late damaged credit, paid another 700. ACCOunt has been paid off 2.5 times now and still shows, TX

I was checking my credit and a past due showed up for Providian, I inquired since I had paid the account off in full several years ago.in order to expediate closing on a house, which has been placed on hold now thanks to this mess, I stupidly paid on the account again. The took the money and reported it both paid and still owing a balance written off of 1200 dollars I stupidly sent them and additional 256 which they said had fallen off the amount some how and now they have been paid numerous times as well as still hurting my creit. Oh well Don't be a trusting FOOL like run don't hide from these loosers.
