Reposetion first time late on payment, claims"no way in hell i will give your vehicle back "

I got my first car loan a year ago. I made every payment on time and paid eighty dollars over on principle every single time. I have all my reciepts. I lost my job in january. I talked to the bank, dorothy at the end of Febuary to tell her my situation. She claimed that if I brought a payment in as soon as possible that they would lower the payments for a couple months untill i got back to work. They sent a truck to pick up my truck yesterday. March 23. Friday everypayment that was behind was going to be paid in full. I called the bank today to ask what steps to take to get my truck back and pay what I owed on friday. Stan Shank at the fort wayne office said and I quote, " There is no way in hell I would give you the vehicle back untill you paid in full the toal amount of your loan, your husband has a history with the bank and if i gave it back you would diappear with it and we would never see it again. The loan is only in my name, and his previous loan was only in his name. We had nothing to do with each others loans. But i am being discriminated against because of a loan that has nothing to do with me. I have four kids and did not atempt in any way to hide from them or ignore there calls. Please someone stop this bank. He said he had every right to come take and will not let me pay my payments up to date so i can get it back. This will ruin my credit score that i have worked so hard to keep up.
