I encountered the same run a round with American Home Mortgage, I have read reports that the mortgages that they hold, they're not sure where they are. The actual paperwork is not in their hands. This I don't know to be true but have read several reports. Sounds like more than Chapter 11 to me.initially you are routed to India, then when you refuse to speak out of the country it takes forever to be switched to US. They are rude, bullying and usually unhelpful. I to have gone to the website to make my payment, usually it was from two seperate accounts which you cannot do on-line. Then when I've called in to make auto withdraws they wanted to charge me $14.95 twice because it was two accounts. I don't think so. I'll up the. 42 cents for a stamp b4 they get more of my money. Then my latest statement reports that interest rate dropped to 8% but payments are the same.??? I really do question the fact of what my payment is paying for. Do they have my mortgage? You can never speak with an actual loan processor.??? Any answers.
