Foreclosure/Short Sale Nightmare!

My son lost his job. His mortgage is with these idiots! We hired a real estate agent to try to sell the home, and have been trying to get a short sale approved with them for 7 months! We have had numerous offers and every time we submit the offer to Aurora they either take to long to make a decision and the offer is withdrawn, or they come up with more paper work or documentation that they claim we need to send to them. We have tried everything humanly possible to get this process completed, and they are absolutely no help.

The last conversation that we had with them they told us that an offer that they had received from us 3 weeks earlier had just gone to the underwriting department and that now it would take an additional 60 days to get an approval. The customer service employee that we spoke to (and yes, we asked several times to speak to a supervisor or someone higher up and was always told that no one was available to speak to us) was of no help and said that they could not move our file up to be reviewed any faster even though we had a good offer (which they said we did have). We told them that we would have to choice but to go into foreclosure. The customer service employee's response was "Oh well, we see that happen everyday!".

I am furious and feel some type of legal action needs to be taken against these lenders. From what I have been reading on the internet the complaints against Aurora Loan Services are unbelieveable! No wonder our economy is in the shape that it is in, these type of lenders just do not care! Something needs to be done immediately!!!
