Agreed to sell my stock in Univeral Delivery Solutions and ATI Petroleum. Charged 24,565 to release funds. No monies received

Business & Finance

I was "cold called" by phone by Mr John Mason asking if I had any shares in my portfolio that I would be interested in selling. His enquiry was from the Zurich office. I told him about two individual stocks, and I was subsequently contacted by Mr Richard Clark from the London Office (0208 8199668).

I agreed to sell 19,365 Universal Delivery Solutions shares at 3-50 each, and 708 ATI Petroleum shares at 5-80 each.in order to cement the deal, Mr Mason offered me the option of a downpayment of 9,000, or to become a client by purchasing 6,000 worth of shares in China Oil. I opted for the latter, and forwarded my payment by telegraphic transfer on 23 October 08.

On 01 December 08, I received an e-mail from Mr James Benting in Zurich, confirming that the sale of my stock had taken place, and that the buyer, ABN Amro, would clear my payment of 74,280 on 12 December 08. The following day, I received another e-mail, stating that both lots of shares were subject to a non-US citizenrelease fund, amounting to 18,565, payable by 05 December 08.

On 31 December 08, having had problems raising the funds, I sent 18,565 by telegraphic transfer to HMG Holdings Ltd., c/o A/c no 308 1061 1802, Standard Chartered Bank, 15/F Standard chartered Tower, 388 Kwun Tong Road, Hong Kong. Since the payment was made, I have not received any funds or any China Oil share certificates.
