Merrick Bank took over all of the NEXTCARD VISA accounts. When they did, they raised the interest rates and began charging fees. Our credit card interest went through the roof.
On top of that, even though our account was never late and had never gone over its limit, these clowns kept declining to authorize charges. Everytime they did it, we had to call them. Last time, they made us fax them a driver's license. When we did, the person who was supposed to fix the problem never did because he didn't have the time after three days with the information he requested. This place sucks!
