*Free Grants - Warning* - Alert. 2009StimulusPlan.org
Deceptive! No information up front per extra monthly charges added after sign up. Not Given

Business & Finance

I own a small spill control company. I went on the internet to find information on government grants for companies like mine. The first site there is
*Free Grants - Warning*, which is underlined, underneath is the site:
Alert. 2009StimulusPlan.org. When reading the initial information, it comes across as very official. As one decides what information to fill out and has eagerly given confidential credit or debit card information for only two charges, 1) $1.99 and 2) $2.99, for the cost of shipping a supposedly free CD and the other charge for additional information, one comes to the end of the site. There one finds they have inadvertently signed up for three monthly charges, (which cannot be reversed), for information one probably never needs. Being upset, of course you call the information/customer service line to complain and cancel, only to find out the receptionist insist she only answers the phone and will give your information to the proper person, who will call you soon. They do not! You then go on line to the supposed web site offered as customer service only to find your e-mail returned to you with a note, "the host site could not be found."

Now what do you do? Because it is an electrical transaction, you have to dispute it with your bank after the charges have been placed on your card. The site shows on your statement as IDS Erika Miller. I wish you good luck.
