Almost scamed

I'm very angry at this company for lieing to me and my family.in early Feburary, a woman called my husband's cell phone and said that she was from Greenbridge Lending Group and wanted to offer my husband a home loan of 25,000. Because our credit is in poor standing and our local banks won't consider our applications, we thought that this was an answer to our prayers. My husband and I have been wanting to purchase a house for a few years now. We live in a bad neighborhood and wanted to move our 2 children to a safer area.

The woman from this company said all we had to do was come up with the first 7 months of our mortgage payments which would be about 2,300 and then our first payment would be on October 1st.in turn for the downpayment, within 24 hours we would receive 25,000 in our bank account. My husband and I were excited and got started. We were able to come up with the downpayment but, had'nt yet sent it in. We started to look at houses that were forclosed on and found one that was the size of a mansion and was in a decent neighborhood.

A friend of my husbands did some research and the company and found this website saying that Greenbridge was a scam company. Thanks Greenbridge for dashing my family's dreams. I hope the people behind this rot. And I hope someone can put a stop to this. I was lucky enough to have someone looking out for us. What about all the people that have fallen prey to this to good to be true company?
