AARP Chase Credit Card
After receiving 0% APR went up to 24.24%

Business & Finance

AARP sent me a 0% credit card to sign up for a few years ago - I had not used a credit card for some time so decided to do so — I started using the card then at Christmas of 2008 I noticed my limit was over which to me was strange since I thought that is what a "limit" was for the credit card company would not let you go over, so I paid the difference and did not think a thing about it, until now my APR is at 24.24% and they say there is nothing anyone there can do about it, I am not sure what their portion of the bail out money is but it is tough for me to believe they are not willing to corret this— Keeping in mind I have never been late for a payment and always pay over the minimum. It amazes me they (the credit card companies) have this kind of power over us. From all the usacomplaints. Coms flled against them on this site alone, you would think there would be some way with out paying the high price of an attorney to get them set straight!!
