I think that H & R Block preparers are incompetent, and worthless. They charge an astronomical fee for such a simple task. They do not hold up to their standards, and do not help their customers.

This comment is so true. I took their course some years back and got a job working at one of their locations. I was so appalled at how they rip people off. Their offices never have the same preparers for more than one season. They promised that you would get commission when they first interview you. What they didn't tell me at the end of the season is that I'd have to do so many dollars worth of tax returns to get the commission which I didn't get to.

This office I worked at was not nice to me at all. If they didn't like what you did and it didn't take much for them to scream at you for stupid little things and it wasn't for anything that would mess up a person's return.

SUGGESTION: Do not work for them or have them prepare your return.
