Scam! Watch out!

I had been delivered a notice declaring that I really could pay-as low as 50 bucks per month for my debt and so I delivered them the very first cost. The 2nd month I obtained another declaration using the whole sum due and so I thought they created an error and so I delivered them another 50-dollar cost. I then looked over my consideration and realized that my funds weren't being completely taken from my bill and so I called them. They explained that since I have hadn't put up a cost plan together I had been simply spending primarily curiosity. For 2 funds of fifty dollars my consideration was just acknowledged 40 bucks. Midland explained they require atleast 1 / 2 of your debt or atleast 250 bucks per month. Why did they mail-me a notice declaring that I really could spend 50 bucks per month? Has anybody had this occur to them with one of these scammers?
