Promised grant money seraches for a fe did not provide any feedback or refund of the $460.00 processing fee as guaranteed by the contract with the company

This company promised via a signed contract to provide guaranteed grant money to start my wifes business. The company did very little follow up once the $460.00 processing fee was cashed. My wife contacted the company several times and was told that the paperwork was being processed and then they would not answer the phone or it would go to voicemail.

After a couple of months the attorney generals office in new york was contacted by me and a complaint was filed. The attorney general sent a letter to my wife a couple of months later stating that they could not make contact with the company and that they could not do anything further for her.
