Unauthorised credit card charge

I've had two unexpected costs to my charge card that we do not know what they're for. One for $1.00 US on 8 Dec and another 2 nights later for $US 39.97 (Aus. 81) about the 10th Dec.

I'm getting this up with my lender, authorized and every other method essential to guarantee this doesn't occur again, I'm just one mother-of 5 kids - that is legal.
