Chase Mortgage Credit Group - La Jolla Lending And Real Estate - Areyo Dadar
They scam homeowners by baiting and switching interest rates and adding money to your mortgage without your approval! Also Encino

Business & Finance

Just like another poster, a broker, (Areyo Dadar, also known as AD) from this company calls you when you are refinancing with promises of a lower interest rate. Since everything sounded good and reputable, we went with them.

He said they found the promised interest rate and drafted the documents with West American Escrow company. Just like in the other rip-off case, they sent a notary, Pooyan Bakhtiar, very late at night with the papers. The signings would always be after 10pm. After we sign the papers, we asked for copies but he said Areyo didn't give him a copy. He said he would give us one in the morning and gave us his cell phone number. Of course, no copies are ever sent to us until much later.

When our first payment was due, we noticed that our interest rate was 8.25% adjustable rate. We also notice that $20,000 was added to our loan! We made numerous calls to Areyo Dadar to fix this loan and he said the mistake was from one of his loan officers, Ruben, who left the company and he couldn't believe the mistake occurred. He said he is trying to "help us" and he would fix the situation. It has been about a year now and all we have are excuses.

Areyo tries to "fix" the situation by giving us other loans. He made agreements with my husband and sends Pooyan with the paperwork. This time we are on to him and look for any changes to what was agreed upon. Of course, there are always changes without our approval so we send Pooyan away without signing anything. Finally Areyo comes to my house to get us to sign the new loan documents but I don't trust him.

The only reason we gave him a chance to fix our loan is we were hoping to get back the money he took from us before we sue him. Since we won't sign any of the other fraudulent loans, he doesn't return out calls. Areyo said that "you wouldn't sue us, you guys wouldn't do that, you are nice people".

After searching on the internet, it turns out this was a possible scam. They (Chase Mortgage Credit Corp, La Jolla Lending and Real Estate, Pooyan Bakhtiar and West American Escrow, Inc) are all currently being sued in FEDERAL court for the same scam filed May 14.

These people obviously underestimate customers and think they can get away with these types of business practises. I just reported them to the District Attorney's office for fraud. I am going after Areyo Dadar's broker's license and Pooyan's notary stamp is next. We have contacted the same attorney's who are currently suing this group to start another lawsuit. I like the idea another poster had about contacting the FBI as well. Shame on them for fooling people and stupid of them to think they could get away with it.
