Wells Fargo will send you a credit card with or without your approval

Some jerk called me from Wells Fargo Financial saying I had an approved credit card already in the mail and all I needed to do was activate it. I told him I didnt apply for a credit card and do not want it and asked if this would show up on my credit report - he said no.

He then tried to get me to cofirm my social security number and my checking and routing number so he could transfer the available funds into my checking account. I was shocked, he just assumed I was an idiot who would agree to this. I tried to be polite saying I wasn't interested, but he became very irritated when I declined.

Sure enough, I still got the credit card in the mail AND it was on my credit report lowering my score by 8pts. If 605-782-5252 calls you, DON'T ANSWER! (unless you feel like cursing them out for me.)
