'Government Funding' Scam supposedly helping people get grants

I received mail about a $25,000.00 grant from the government. I got suspicious when the address showed Kansas City, Kansas, and the postage permit showed Carol Stream, Illinois. I decided to Google it, and found reports of other people who received the same letter, and they all announced it was a scam.
