Biggest Scam in the Mortgage Industry

I absolutely believe Amerisave should be investigated and prosecuted for fraud. The company is totally devoid of any ethics and/or integrity.

I have 25 years experience in the mortgage industry and have never seen or heard of more "bait and switch" and downright dishonesty in my entire career. I joined Amerisave as "Regional" and promptly started recruiting ethical professionals. We ALL experienced the same: Everything we were told prior to joining the company was somehow different AFTER we paid the fee and bought the "leads". When I left my "downline" and myself had spent over $2700 in lead fees... And exactly one loan closed! I still have the $50 check... I didn't cash it as I wanted the reminder!

In hindsight I believe Amerisave is probably in business for the money they make on the leads, not on closing loans!!!

I posted a comment stating the above and the fact that they deactivated me for inactivity AND kept over $400 of MY money. I immediately heard from Robert Wilkes, VP, and Martin Wilhelm, attorney, that they would NEVER keep anyone's money. They both assured me that the funds would be immediately returned... Still no $!

I have worked with internet mortgage companies for years and I was able to represent my clients with complete integrity... Not at amerisave. This company is bad for both consumer and professional. The sooner they are out of business the better off everyone will be.
