Good people trying to own a home

We have had our home for 2 yrs and my husband has a brain tumor so he was off work and we got behind on a payment. They are not welling to work with us at all.
We get nasty phone calls from them we even tried to pay a half of payment so we could get caught up and they refused it. Just wish there was something we could do about it. You would think they would want people to try to pay for their homes and not give them back. But i guess they are not people...
