An attempt to rip me off, Thank you usacomplaints.com Report

CCA Credit Service Division sent me a letter in the mail, including a credit card with a $6500.00 purchase limit. At first it caught my eye, and I actually got excited. However, I started reading everything that was included in the "membership." What apparently seemed to be "too good to be true" was indeed to good to be true.

They wanted my bank account number, $199.99 membership fee, $99 annual fee, and 30% S&H of all purchases up front, which they will "CONVENIENTLY" debit from my account at "no additional charge." On top of all the propaganda I was subjected to, they also offered to debit my bank account between the 1st and 5th of each month for the minimum amount due, and of course this figure was not provided.

Thinking that I was going to get ripped off, I tried calling the phone number, which was constantly busy. When I looked on the internet, the first item on the search engine was usacomplaints.com, and I quickly learned that this was a scam.

I do not agree with the procedures or actions of this company, and it is in fact a rip-off. I do urge ANYONE who receives ANYTHING in the mail that seems "too good to be true" to READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS on the back of the offer.

Companies in the U.S. Are legally obligated to include this in any binding contract, including credit card offers. After reading the T&C section, if it still seems like a scam, do a little research before signing or sending anything.

For those of us who have been ripped off before, we know how awful and frustrating it can be... So do your homework and read EVERYTHING before making a decision. "What the big print giveth, the little print taketh away, " and in some cases can lead to rip-offs and scams.
