Unclaimed Prize Money Scam

I received a letter (from Canada with no return address) stating that I was a winner of some unclaimed prize money from Sweepstakes such as Readers Digest, Publisher Clearing House, Internet Games ect. Which I knew right away was bull—it; because I don't subscribe to any of those publications nor do I play any online games. Anyway, included was a check for the amount of 3,962.55 which was to cover, now get this "Administrative Taxes and Fees". I have heard a lot of bull—it in my 51 years but this was funny as hell to me.

At any rate I contacted HSBC and made then aware of this scam that was taking place and sent them a copy of the letter and check. What really pissed me off the most is the fact I could really use the money right about now. It makes me want to able to find "Jessica Wilks" the agent I was to contact and "Sally John" and kick the sh— out of both of them for f—king with my head in the middle of the economic crises here in the US. Anyway just be careful and don't cash the damn checks no matter how temping it may be.
