I signed up online for a credit report for the price of $35.95. This was three to four weeks ago. Two days ago, they took out $79.95 out of my account without permission. Because it was a debit/bank card, this put my account into the negative, bounced a check and my bank charged me a fee.

Their number, which I had to get through my bank, kept me on hold for half an hour. While I was able to get the $79.95 credited to my account, it took being transfered. I was out the $30.00 fee for bouncing a check and the amount of the check.

They claimed that when I signed up for the credit report, I signed up for a 30 day trial of a continuously updating report service. The charge of this service if I didn't CALL them to cancel it was the $79.95. Needless to say, I never signed up for this offer or agreed to pay $79.95.

Please be warned, before you sign up for any credit report, check them through a service such as this.
