WAMU Credit Card
A 32.99% spike in interest for no reason. Im shocked

Over the past few months I have noticed by WAMU creditcard increasing in rates for no reason. The first time i contacted WAMU in August they told me my interest rate was at 21.99% because I was 3 days late on a payment. My rate previously was 0% till 2009 and a small balance had 14%. I aksed them to reveist the situation with me being a long standing customer and my credit score and they told me no, not till October. This is now Novemebr and I now have found out that my rate is 31.99%! When I asked why and told the represenative of my previous conversation she says "currently there are no offers for you and we will contact you when one comes available." in other words I can't tell you why nor do I care. I will not hold my breath on waiting for them to lower the interest rate. This should be illegal and is a great example why Americans are in the situation they are in. I will pay my trivial $3500 off but I feel for those who are in deeper. They don't have a chance. Maybe our new president will see the unjust in these actions.
