Independent contractor was selling magazines at wal-mart in dallas tx. He said he was doing a contest for him to be a dj for his college in a different state and was traveling state to state. I placed an order and he didnt give me all of the receipts I needed. I wrote 2 checks and when I decided to cancel my order I put both check numbers on the cancellation notice. They still cashed one of my checks. Because of this I had FOUR overdraft fees in the amount of $35 and the $74 check cashed. The receptionist was very rude when I called and told me to fax in a refund request. I did so demanding they refund me the $74 PLUS all four overdraft fees. I have yet to see the refund check, but the lady that called me back said they could do the $74 and MAYBE one OD fee!!! Now I'm out $105 for sure and we'll see if I get the $109 from them??? This company is full of scam artists.
