Got the statement in the mail and they jacked the interest up to 31.31%. Called and asked them why and after being on hold for a very long time I was told that they were determining certain companies as a risk of default due to the economy. I was not late on my payments. Always paid on time. Even paid in advance. This is not right. I told them to close my account and was told they prefer that the balance was paid before the account was closed. But I told them to close it anyway.
