Temporary Charge On My Credit Card

I woke up this am (10/14) and looked over my credit card online and noticed a momentary cost on my card. Used to donot purchase something and not heard about e-commerce before today. I tried calling and faxing them-but nobody would answer the telephone and also the fax-modem would not answer. Being that they are suspected of deceptive methods I'd like this looked after ASAP.
