This is the year 2008 and I am still upset about what happened to me and my family. I did not know that this website existed until today. I am glad I found it because people need to beware of Previa Financial Group. My husband and I were having financial hardship and we wanted to get a loan to pay off our bills and start over from scratch. He saw an ad from Previa in the Washington Times Newspaper. He called and filled out the paperwork. Soon he was told that he was approved for a $100,000.00 loan. That was exciting BUT the next things we were told because our credit was bad we needed to pay 6 months payments up front to show good faith. Of course my husband and I never had bad credit before so since our credit got messed up we thought this was what we needed to do. We were told that we had to pay $3,465.48 which would be refundable and that we had to send the money via Western Union to the attention of Kemica Lee. Then we were told that after we send the money we will have the funds automatically deposited into our bank account within a few hours. After we sent the money, my husband called to verify they got the funds. He was then told that they would need additional money. Of course, we knew right then that something was wrong. We tried endlessly to get our money back. We did not have it to give away and we had to borrow it from a family friend to send it with the promise to return it as soon as the money was deposited into our account. I was upset. I wanted to file a lawsuit but I did not know where to start. This happened in 2006 and we still would like to get our money refunded. The lesson is that you should not have to pay for a loan to get a loan.
