Home Assure Fraud? Homeassure.com
We hired Home Assure from their website HomeAssure.com At the time it seemed like the correct thing to do. We were behind one month and were nowhere near the foreclosure process. Home Assure promised they could work out a loan modification for us and lower our payment, we paid them $1500.00 and started believing that all would be fine. They also gave us the advice to not pay our mortgage payment until they had worked out a deal, we should save the money in an account but not to pay (a deal was never worked out). Our home went into foreclosure.

Don't Pay anyone up front for mortgage help!!! That is the Scam!

We found out that our home was in foreclosure from our mortgage company and not from Home Assure. We soon contacted Home Assure to find out what was going on and they told us not to worry that they were close to getting us the perfect deal. Another month went by and we had heard nothing from Home Assure. Finally we contacted our mortgage company and found out that no deal was going to be made and that we should not have used Home Assure but instead should have talked directly with them, the mortgage company to work out any deal.

At that time we contacted Home Assure and told them we wanted an immediate answer from them about the progress of our deal they were supposedly working out.instead we received a phone call stating that they could not get a deal for us in the time frame we requested and that they would give us our money ($1500.00) back, according to their 100% money back guarantee. That was 5 weeks ago, we have contacted them on several occasions, and have still not received our funds.

So by hiring Home Assure, we have been placed into foreclosure due to their advice and lack of ability and have not received our money back. We have had to hire a real estate company to help us short sell the property and are moving out of the state all together. I would not suggest hiring Home Assure in any way, If you are having mortgage issues I would suggest you speak with your mortgage company, speak with a government office, or contact www.tipreality.com a real estate company that specializes in foreclosures. There are many other real estate companies that specialize in foreclosures I just don't know the names of them.

So is Home Assure a scam? I may never know. If I ever get my money back, I may think they did their best. If I don't get my money back I will know that Home Assure is a complete scam.
