Freedom Resource Credit Inc. Phoned me to let me know I was approved for credit card. Gave my bank info for a fee of $221.95. I chnged mind but have to wait for transaction to take place.internet Internet...

I had a hard time getting credit and loan. So fell into the trap of freedomresource. I had a feeling it was to good to be true but was desperate to borrow money for moving purposes. I rec'd phone call that I was approved and in my excitement gave all my bank info. After I hung up, I started getting a nagging feeling that I had made a bad mistake. After a week I called bank to ask if they could block the freedom resource credit inc. From taking $221.95 from my account.

They said they could but it would block anyother transactions on that account besides freedom credit. That would mean I couldn't get my direct pay from work. They told me to wait till the $221.95 is taken out and then sign an affidavite stating it was not authorized by me. And my bank would get my money back. I'm thinking of changing my account number this way they can't get into it in the future.

I think this is horrible taking advantage of hard working people who only want to get a little help to tide them over till they catch up with bills, etc. Or get a few little luxuries out of life. They are like leeches and have no conscience. I only hope it doesn't happened to any of their loved ones.

I also did the same on the same day with another credit company but to purchase merchandise only not for cash as above credit offered me. It was called USA Platinum (US Superstore) phone no. 1-800-594-3993. They charged me $99.95. Are they on this list too?
