On 8/25/08 my husband received a letter stating he had won a contest, and won 250,000.00. A check for 4890.00 was also included in the letter, he had to call a phone # in Canada to confirm his winnings and he would get the rest of the money after he called that #. I guess these people who run these scams are tired of using the internet have started sending out these phoney checks now please be very carefull.
