I had opened a account with Sky Bank, Formerly Three Rivers Financial Inst in June. When i opened the account they informed me that i would have to pay them 3 dollars to cash my checks at my own bank, well that was BS and i just let it go because i wasnt really worried about 3 dollars. But to the real story.in december of 02 my mac card was stolen and used. That incident put my account in the negative about $ 200.00.

I went to the bank and filled out all the necessary papers and wanted to make a deposit of 500$ to make sure nothing bounced and then the Bank Manager told me that wouldnt be a good idea because first of all he couldnt clear the check for 7 days and if more charges were posted to the account they would be covered so i listened to him and just put the account on hold. SO he then said he would work with me to fix all the problems that i was facing with the bouncing checks and NSF charges that i was facing due to the circumstances.

Well after christmas i had to go and pay $300.00 to cover the bounced shecks and then i had 2 more days went by and i called him and he said that he couldnt do anythign to fix it. But then proceeded to tell me that i had to give him another $200.00 because my account was in the negative again and i had to fix it because there wasnt anything else he could do for me. Well needless to say i closed the account and went on to say that yea he would work with me, Stealing my Money. So if you use Sky Bank just be careful because they dont follow their policies and user agreement they follow their own rules that they will benifit from.
