All prominent banks, when issuing a credit card do not automatically activate it. Normally, an activation phone call is required. That's not the case with M&I Credit card. They would send you a credit card that you haven't requested. Not only this card is automatically activated for you without your knowledge, but you also get charged an annual fee. You better pay this annual fee, even if you never use this card, because otherwise you'll be charged a late fee.

If you'll try to clear the matter with the customer service, you'll be greeted with unbelievably rude and unhelpful representatives.
