Scam

I recieved a letter in the mail today from Liberty Financial Corporation. It claimed that my name was attached to a ticket which consequently won the lottery in the 2nd category. Enclosed was a check in the amount of $3865.75.

I don't know, the envelope had no return address or company name, the letterhead says Libery Financail Corporation in NY, but the check is from 'Intel' with a local P O Box here in Seattle. I was going to take this check to my bank in the morning, but not after reading all of these reviews. Also, my reasearch shows that the phone number they provided me was not even a New York, Seattle or Canada number! I read in one of these reviews, it was a mobile phone number! No thanks guys, I don't have time to be bothered by this...
